I really believe that mathematics and mathematical thinking are pathways for future success, not necessarily only in the work world, but in the real world of problem solving and communicating and making sense of situations. We're raising our future leaders. I'm preparing them for jobs that don't exist yet. I'm not specifically training them for jobs to do particular tasks. I want to train them to be conscious thinkers.
